Ni no kuni: wrath of the white witch
Items: dragon tusk, dress armor, heart of the muse, 2000 G, 10,000 G, 20,000 G, hot-blooded badge, harrowfang, mandragorer ticket, 5000 G, 15,000 G, 30,000 G
Now that you’ve completed the main story, all ranks will be able to be unlocked as you battle through them. If you haven’t fought any of them yet, I can assure you that you won’t have any troubles with ranks E through A. Rank S, on the other hand, can be tough, but if you were able to hand the white witch’s behind to her, then you should be a-okay. Here are some tips:
Level up. Obviously, if you’re under leveled, nothing I can say here will help. It’s recommended to fight tokotocolds at the ivory tower until you’re at least level 90 before continuing (though being at the max level of 99 is even more strongly recommended.) considering that you’re not allowed to use items to help save your skin during these battles, then the higher you are, the better. I was easily wiped out on my first time at level 79, during the third battle. And even in the 90’s, I was getting wiped out because of lack of MP to heal.
Conserve your MP . If you can win without using it, then do so, even if it takes longer. Not being able to use items means that you’re stuck with what you have, save for the occasionally blue glim.
Pulse is your friend . If you must use magic, then stick with pulse. Yeah, it is a low level spell, but it also disrupts enemy attacks while doing decent damage, occasionally knocking out a gold glim in the meantime. A free burning heart is well worth it, and it’ll keep you from taking damage as often.
Stay healed . Once someone’s HP gets too low, or then even die, then it’s going to be an uphill struggle for the rest of the entire round trying to get them back up on their feet. You may want to substitute a couple of your regular familiars with those who know both healing and resurrecting tricks, just to be safe.
Use swaine’s rotshot. It does quite a bit of damage every few seconds, and costs very little MP.
Aim for the weakest . If there’s a group of two or more, have your party attack the weakest of the bunch. If there’s a healer in the group, make sure to target it first. (it’s most likely the weakest anyway.)
Don’t get cocky . The first two battles aren’t going to be that bad, but the last two are going to be murder. Try to be at max health before going into the third battle.
When desperate, use oliver’s fortune’s fool . Yes, there’s a good chance of it backfiring, but if you’re desperate and not sure you’re going to win to begin with, then use it anyway; it may be a life saver.
Here are the prizes for winning:
**rank:** | **prize:** |
---|---|
rank E | dragon tusk, 2000 G |

rank C | dress armor, 10,000 G |
rank B | harrowfang, 15,000 G |
rank A | heart of the muse, 20,000 G |
rank S | mandragorer ticket, 30,000 G |
Note: after your first win, if you haven’t tried it already, you’ll receive the “solosseum slugger” trophy. If you manage to defeat all of the enemies in the rank S category, you’ll earn the “solosseum supremo” trophy.

1: you are being chased by a guy with a dagger through the streets. You call your friend but he doesn't pick up. What do you do?
A: call the cops to come and help?
B: call an adult to come and help?
Or C: call your other friend who is in a wheelchair to come and help?
If your answer is C, then you will probably love this movie. If it isn't then you will probably enjoy watching this show to laugh at other dumb things the characters did.
2: you find your stabbed girlfriend on the streets in the arms of your best friend (not in that way, get your minds out of the gutter). Your girlfriend is losing blood and your friend who can't walk (because he is a cripple but is still trying to carry her and save her) is holding her too tightly. What do you do?
A: rush over and help carry her?
B: call an ambulance?
C: ask your friend in an angry voice why he is holding his girlfriend like that?
If your answer is C, then you will probably love this movie. If it isn't then you will probably enjoy watching this show to laugh at other dumb things the characters did.
Ni no kuni is as cliche and over dramatic as it gets. So much so that I called every single plot point and surprise twist reveal. Cliche doesn't necessarily mean bad, but it does lead to a lack of enjoyment when you have seen everything it does done better in other movies. Nothing is really bad but nothing is really good either besides for the art. It will entertain kids though and that is enough. This movie was made by an animator employee of studio ghibli, momose yoshiyuki, and while you can tell that by the animation and sound (by another ghibli employee), it fails to do what most miyazaki films do, and that is to touch your heart. That is probably because of the generic script from akihiro hino. The script is definitely the falling point of this movie.
Story:
ni no kuni is about two friends named yusuke (yuu) and haru who both like a girl named kotona who suddenly gets stabbed and when they to rescue her they end up in the middle of traffic and get transported to a fantasy world. The only difference is that they got transported before they got hit by a vehicle. In this world they find that there is a princess named astrid who looks like their kotona and is in critical condition just like her and they need to try to figure out the connection between the two girls and the two worlds, and they need to find a way to save both of them since they are both injured.
Art:
the art and animation are the best things in the movie. It almost looks like a ghibli or ponoc film. The art is pretty and clean and the animation is smooth and explosive. The CGI actually looks pretty good in this movie.
Sound:
nothing of note here. It fits in and does its job but there is nothing memorable about it. It is slightly surprising since the music composer is done by joe hisashi, otherwise known as the musical composer for pretty much every studio ghibli movie. The soundtrack is good and keeps me invested in the atmosphere of each scene but it is one of his weaker works. My personal favorite songs of his are "my neighbor totoro" (the totoro song) and "carrying you" (from castle in the sky). I saw the movie in english on netflix and the dub was good. The british-like voices from the other world annoyed me a bit but everyone was well cast.
Characters:
there is nothing unique about the characters. They had emotions and names and faces but besides for one being in a wheelchair (for only part of the movie), there is nothing that I could say about the characters that would distinguish them from other characters. Haru was just a badly written character for most of the movie and the other leads were just generic characters with no motivations besides for protecting those they love.
Enjoyment:
while I can't say that I didn't enjoy it, I might have enjoyed it for the wrong reasons. I laughed at some of the stupid things that the characters did throughout the movie like what I wrote in the opening paragraph. There were a lot of other times that dumb things happened. Dumb, but entertaining to watch.
Overall:
I enjoyed the movie and that is what counts the most. But overall the movie just suffers from a bad script. For what it is, from the studio behind pokemon, studio OLM, kids will enjoy it and it is for them that it was probably made. Unlike with ghibli movies, this movie didn't have a lesson or moral to give over, and that may actually be its biggest sin.
Score: 8 (good and had some great elements, but I wouldn't rewatch it).
I don't think it deserves an 8 but I enjoyed it too much (for whatever reason) to give it a 7.
What we have here is level-5's attempt at making a movie, and on the surface, it looks promising. Ni no kuni is a game series that got started in the early 2010s, and it was famous for one thing: it was the first video game that studio ghibli worked on. No, really. Level-5 actually brought ghibli on to animate various cutscenes and had joe hisaishi make the music for it. Needless to say, everyone who played it really liked it. I've been wanting to play the game myself for years, but it was on the PS3, which I could never afford. It did get re-released on the switch, so I wasted no time buying it, but I never got to sit down and play it yet. Getting back on track, ni no kuni eventually went on to get a sequel game and, as of last year, a movie with an original story. When I heard about the movie, I was really excited! But then I actually got to watch it.
Good lord, I've been disappointed before, but this was just. Painful. I really want to like this movie. I really do! It does have a lot going for it at first. And it crashed and burned. Hard. So what's the story? Well, it focuses on three kids: yu, haru, and kotona, who are great friends and spend a lot of time together. One day, kotona is stabbed by a mysterious pursuer. Haru and yu try to save her, but when they're nearly killed in a car accident. They wake up in another world called evermore. But kotona is missing, and the princess of this world they're in happens to look almost exactly like her. In their quest to save the princess and find kotona, they learn more about evermore and what it has in common with earth, but the friends' loyalty to each other get tested and strained when their actions in evermore have consequences in the real world. Yu may have to make hard choices, especially when haru begins acting strangely when kotona's situation gets more complicated.
Sorry if my summary of the story isn't that great. There's a lot that I can't mention without spoiling the entire movie in the process, so I'll try to hold back as much as I can. But man, do I really want to rant about this movie! However, I don't want to be too negative, so I'll go over the positive aspects of this movie first: the animation is quite good. The world's overall look is really breathtaking, the character designs are varied and interesting, the fight choreography is top notch, and some of the fight scenes were actually pretty clever in some ways. I also really liked yu as a character. Not only is he NOT an overpowered bland isekai protag (and he has no harem. Thank god!), he actually has a backstory, has good chemistry with his friends, and is smart and competent. He could have benefitted from more depth and had more flaws, but I'm happy with what we got. Plus, having a main character in a wheelchair who is portrayed decently well, doesn't bemoan his disability, and isn't solely defined by his disability, is pretty cool. His friend/adopted sister saki was pretty awesome too. She got some great moments in the movie, both in the real world and in the other world. I kinda wish we had seen more of her.
Unfortunately, those are the only good things I can say about the movie, because the rest of it really doesn't fare well. While I admit I haven't played the games much, they delve into the world the kids go into in a lot more detail than the movie could even scrape, so what little we see of it is just kind of there. The setting isn't developed well enough to make its audience feel invested in it, even with the animation making it look as beautiful as possible. And that's only the tip of the iceberg in terms of this movie's many, many problems. With how well loved the games are, and how the movie is telling its own story, you'd think the creators would be able to do them justice and create an intriguing story out of it. Unfortunately, the movie is little more than a generic fantasy isekai movie, with the main kids trying to save their girl friend and the princess who is a damsel in distress. The villains are so cartoonishly evil that you'd think they'd have come straight out of a saturday morning cartoon, and the real big bad is so obvious that you can tell who it is straight away. The whole movie follows the same story beats and cliches that have plagued other stories for centuries, and doesn't really do anything new or exciting with them.
And that's not even getting into the characters. Other than yu and saki, every single one of them is extremely bland and one-note. Kotona's the energetic girl whose life is in danger, astrid is the damsel in distress princess who tries to be more active, the main villain is the chessmaster manipulating everything who hams it up when exposed, but all of them pale in comparison to haru. Seriously, watching him made me feel like the writers really didn't know what to do with him most of the time. He starts out as the cheerful friend archetype, then gets needlessly angry at yu for little to no reason (case in point: early in the movie, when he sees yu with an injured kotona, he doesn't ask if he's alright or offer to take them both to the hospital, you know, like a good friend would. He yells at him for holding her in an intimate way, takes kotona away so he can run her to the hospital, and JUST LEAVES HIM THERE! Knowing that yu's in a wheelchair and can't move! Dude, what a dick!), his motivations are laughable and poorly developed, and he's constantly being a reckless idiot who can't stop to think (which yu actually calls him out on in the movie!). Any development he gets is really unnatural and rushed, like the writers couldn't agree on what to do with him. Honestly, as a character, haru is the biggest dark spot on the movie, and the other characters, while slightly more tolerable, are still too bland to really connect with on an emotional level, since the movie's only under two hours long. There's a lot of characters to keep track of, and I think the movie would have fared better if it had cut a few of them out to give the writers more wiggle room to strut their stuff.
Speaking of writing, I'm not even done with that portion yet. Late in the movie, a lot of stuff happens, but most of it is characters spouting about random plot points that were never mentioned before, are barely explored when they're introduced, and they just appear without rhyme or reason. Like, at one point, astrid mentions that the only way to defeat a villain is some magic sword, but her father tells her it's been gone for years, and later, we see the sword again because some old guy gave it to yu, who can activate it even though he has no reason to be able to do so at that point, and all is suddenly happy happy joy joy. Can you see how badly planned and written this sounds? Basically, the only reason the sword is even used again is because the plot demands it. Furthermore, there are a ton of other plot threads that get little to no deep exploration, such as an old man who yu met when he was a kid. We never know his name, we never know who he is or why he's there, but when the story writes itself in a corner, he appears and gives the heroes the tools they need to save the day, and then leaves again. He's basically a deus ex machina in human form, and that's not good writing. Seriously.
I don't have much to say about the soundtrack, as its joe hisaishi, and from what I've heard, he re-uses tracks from some of the games. Again, I haven't played them, so I can't judge them on how well they fit into the movie, but I kinda feel like hisaishi overused his orchestra to the point where the bgms were so loud during certain scenes that they just got obnoxious. And at other points, the music swells and gets dramatic, then suddenly just stop. Oh, and the CGI made no effort to actually integrate with the animation. My god, close-ups of various monsters walking through rugged terrain don't even try to blend in with the 2D animation, making them stick out like a sore thumb, even worse than how granblue fantasy did it. It's jarring and takes you out of the movie. Think looking through a closet of all black clothes and a random pink dress suddenly flies in front of your face and blinds you. That's how bad it is. It's especially obvious when important characters, who are traditionally animated, are the focus of a scene, while obviously CGI soldiers flail around in the background, their limb movements all herky jerky and the texture so computerized that you can tell they're not even trying to make them mix with the scenery.
So yeah, the movie's not great. It's poorly written, the characters are bland, the story is cliche in all the worst ways, the CG is terrible and makes no effort to try to be less jarring than it is, and any drama it tries to pull off comes off forced and artificial. But in all honesty, if ni no kuni had been just a generic isekai movie, I wouldn't have minded. It would have been just a generic but still serviceable movie. But then the ending happened. I won't spoil it for you, but the ending is absolutely one of the most awful, badly written endings I've ever seen in any form of media, not only by just how out of nowhere the final twist is, but how little sense it makes, and how it completely spits on everything the movie previously established all for the sake of forced drama that didn't need to happen. Seriously, I haven't been this infuriated at anything since the card captor sakura: clear card anime's just as god-awful ending, and this one stoops to a whole new level of bad writing. I mean, you really have to TRY to be that bad.
I really don't want to hate this movie. I really don't. If the writers had made more of an effort with it and smoothed out all of its issues, it could have been a fine movie capable of standing on its own merits. Alas, what we wound up getting was a complete mess with a god awful ending that ruined an already flimsy premise to hell and back. So don't waste your time with this one.

Ni no kuni wrath of the white witch remastered (steam) (released september 2019)
Post by drummerix » fri sep 20, 2019 12:04 am
I have a few basic options so far for ni no kuni wrath of the white witch remastered on steam. Game appears to use same functions for multiple things again, so I'm trying the pointer approach similar to what I did with octopath traveler.
There are 2 spots in memory the game saves basic HP and MP. I update both with a script similar to gameshark codes to always set HP and MP to maximum values if you use the infinite HP and MP scripts.
Options so far:
infinite HP for all characters
infinite MP for all characters
no cooldown
all spells cost zero MP
inf familiar stamina
change alchemy formulas (either easy mad scientist or white bread only)
multiply extra stat increases of familiars
can use philmobile before endgame
can use dragon horn (tengri) from beginning of game
no fullness for familiars when feeding
infinite item usage/set minimum amount
EXP multiplier (for characters and familiars)
merit stamps multiplier
guilders (gold) multiplier
monsters drop all items (common & rare drop plus common & rare steal)
override shop item ID
override get familiar (ticket exchange or capturing)
ability to add spells to your spell list
pointer to known spell list
pointers to oliver current HP and MP
pointers to guilders, merit stamps, casino chips (found by impalapua)
pointers to number of time stolen, glims collected and battles won (for easy achievements)
pointers to highlighted familiar stats
EDIT 1:
I put in a pointer to guilders. This is all I have time for tonight but will work on more tomorrow.
EDIT 1.5:
I found time to put in an infinite item usage/set minimum amount and EXP multiplier so far. The EXP multiplier only affects characters for now like oliver. I will have to look for the familiars later. You can set the multiplier to a number between 0 and 1 to effectively lower the EXP you receive and thus make the game harder. 0.5 for example is half EXP.
EDIT 2.0:
I put in a highlighted familiar stat pointer where you can give your familiars extra stats. The maximum extra stat you can set is 255, but it makes them strong. I also fixed EXP multiplier to affect both characters and familiars.
EDIT 2.1:
I put in a fix for the infinite oliver HP and MP to not crash during certain cutscenes. The pointer I was using was changing during certain cutscenes. Fearless has been having issues all day and I haven't had much time to add much of anything else. Someone found an issue with EXP multiplier causing you not to metamorph your familiar's. Haven't had much time to try fixing that, so use EXP multiplier with familiar's with caution.
EDIT 2.5:
I was able to come up with a override shop item ID option. Thanks to predprey for posting the items. I tested buying a few things from multiple categories and things worked okay for me. You just choose the item you want to get and you get it instead of what you select in the shop while the option is on. I would turn it off when not using it. The game still says you bought what was in the shop, but if you check your inventory, the override item is there instead. Enjoy!
EDIT 3.0:
I did some work on infinite item usage/set minimum amount. I made it work on gaining an item and put in code to not affect important items. I also fixed the issue of buying an item with the option on making you get max of the item. I found a pointer to merit stamps and put in a merit stamp multiplier option. Although you can edit things with the pointer, it might not show your merit cards correctly when you do. So using the merit stamp multiplier, you can speed things up with your questing.
EDIT 3.5:
I got a little lucky and was able to find something with 100% drops. Normally, you are only allowed one item per monster I think but I put in code to give you all the drops of a monster. In my testing, it worked except for the white bread of the baatender. Not sure why it doesn't work for that in my game. I might of messed up my inventory of that item or something. Anyway, let me know of any issues you find and enjoy!
EDIT 3.6:
I fixed monster drop all items to include the steal drops. According to information I found on the internet, this is all a monster can drop (common & rare drop plus common & rare steal). This option gives you everything for every monster, so your inventory might fill up quickly with it on.
EDIT 3.7:
I did a little work on the table today. I put in the requested guilders multiplier and added learned tricks and sign to the highlighted familiar stats pointer section. Someone mentioned it didn't work for them, but I am only up to where you have 2 familiars in the beginning and both work for me. You view the creature cage to update the pointer. The extra stats fields don't update until you refresh the page in game if you change them for me. Oh, I also fixed the merit stamps pointer. It is actually divided into merit stamps earned which is 2 bytes and merit stamps spent which is 2 bytes. You can keep setting merit stamps spent to 0 to have full merit cards even after purchasing a merit reward.
EDIT 3.8:
fixed a bug in the guilders multiplier that affected when you purchased things too. It now only multiplies when you get gold or sell something. Added in casino chips pointer found by impalapua.
EDIT 3.9:
I changed the option of infinite HP and MP to affect all characters. I don't have swaine yet, but I think I have his offsets based on the pattern of oliver and esther. Let me know of any issues.
EDIT 4.0:
I came up with an infinite familiar stamina option in this update. I am passed the trials and can now tame familiars. I plan on working on options for that tomorrow but it might be tomorrow night before I have time to post anything. Stay tuned.
EDIT 4.5:
to facilitate getting any familiar you want, I came up with an override get familiar option that works when you exchange tickets with solomon or when capturing a familiar in the wild. The default name and type it says doesn't change, but the familiar added to your stash is the override one when you have the option activated and choose one. I think it works out fairly well. Enjoy!
EDIT 4.6:
I was able to improve things with override get familiar when exchanging tickets. It now puts the default name of the override familiar you selected when exchanging tickets with solomon. Capturing wild familiar's still doesn't change the default name or type it says but it overrides it when it puts it in your stash. I think the easiest way to get familiars with the table is use override shop and give yourself however many tickets you want familiars for and then use override get familiar as you exchange them with solomon.
EDIT 4.7:
I really wanted a way to get travel early in the game to speed up things if needed. After much searching, I have the ability to add a spell to your spell list. I am not positive if this will mess up your game when you get the spell when you are supposed to in the game. I may add the ability to just edit existing spells in your list later on. For now, you can add any spell you want but be careful of adding too many too early. There is a maximum of 55 spells I believe. You need to view your spell list once after you enable the table to update pointers I use to add the spells.
EDIT 4.8:
the spell list id's I had to come up with manually and didn't have time to check them out when I made EDIT 4.7. In this update I cleaned up the spell list ID's so you can add astra now correctly if you want. It appears many of the ID's I pulled from the game don't point to anything so there are less than 55 spells I have that you can add. I did test adding astra in the beginning of the game and it worked as long as I changed my maximum MP to have enough to cast it. Enjoy. Unleash might be another good spell to have early in the game if you wish.
EDIT 5.0:
I am making one more update I think and hopefully the table will be feature complete as far as I can tell. I've added in the pointer to your known spell list. You have to view your spells to update the pointer, but I list 50 slots for spells. It should be enough I think. Someone requested an easier way to add spells and so I gave you the ability to just change a spell slot to a spell you want and once you view your spell list again, it adds it. You have to keep the same format as all your known spells are first before any blank spots (i.E. You cannot have a blank spot and then another spell). Enjoy the table and the game!
EDIT 5.1:
I guess I lied. I am thinking getting all trophies for this game. It looks to be a grind fest for some of them, but it's a good game. I added in battles won pointer and glims collected pointer. Also put in the familiarity EXP under highlighted familiar stats. Setting this to 999 and familiarity to 4 gets you close to the achievement for max familiarity. Oh I also added in a no fullness for familiars when feeding. It takes many treats to max things out if you use the game interface. I am thinking this is about all I can do for now.
EDIT 5.2:
had major bug with EDIT 5.1. It broke esther's spells and swaine's special moves too. I put in a fix in this update and as long as you haven't changed their names, it fixes things once you use them in battle with this enabled again. I didn't know the same code affected spells, songs and swaine's moves. I guess I could put in options to edit their things, but I'm only doing spells for now.
EDIT 5.3:
another attempt to fix swaine's special attacks. I don't have swaine in the party so I cannot confirm if it works. Let me know.
EDIT 5.4:
one more attempt to fix swaine's special attacks. If this doesn't work, I will need to play the game until I get swaine to see what is going on with him. I attempted to look at the code to determine what I need to set things to to fix it. I guess it might be better to use EDIT 4.8 until I get to point in the game to make sure this works. I did recently start over because I wanted a fresh experience without stopping to look for options. I will try playing as much as I can over the weekend.
EDIT 5.5:
I haven't progressed to the point where I have swaine or marcassin yet, but one person said my change worked for them. According to my understanding oliver and marcassin cast spells, while esther and swaine do songs and trickshots. There appears to be only two values for the memory I modified that tells the game you have a spell or song or trickshot. 1 for spells and 2 for songs and trickshots. In this update, I did some changes that hopefully fix things for those of you who used any of the tables that messed things up. It requires oliver and marcissin's name to not have changed. I hope this works for everyone.
EDIT 6.0:
I've played up until the boat and am enjoying the game with the table. Giving yourself spells early makes things easier. I gave mysel veil for the no aggro spell along with many others that reveal treasure chests and vacate to leave dungeons along with travel to fast travel to places you've been easier. I've found a few issues with infinite HP and MP not working all the time as you get party members. I've attempted to fix this as it appears things move around a little in memory. However, if you cast too many spells outside battle, it says you don't have MP. To fix this issue I came up with a all spells cost zero MP option. Now you can cast veil as often as you like outside battle. I also added in the pointer to number of times you have stolen. This makes the achievement easier. It appears the game stores all these trackers right next to each other, but that may be the last one I make a pointer for. Anyway, that's it for now I think.
EDIT 6.1:
someone requested a no cooldown. I was able to get a quick cooldown working fairly quickly. This makes cooldowns pretty quick but not zero it seems. I do not plan to stop playing and search for things that take a long time to find. I'm enjoying the game at the moment.
EDIT 6.2:
the russian version was still having issues. I am not using the names of characters anymore to determine what to write for spells, songs and trickshots. I found an id or party slot that seems to work for me in every version. Here it is in this update. I haven't changed anything else but I have esther and swaine in my party and they still kept their songs and trickshots with this version.
EDIT 6.5:
I perfected no cooldown, but I'm unsure if this affects enemies too. It's possible it does, but it now works for familiars and characters and it is now no cooldown.
EDIT 6.75:
someone requested a no ingredients option for alchemy. This game seems to always complicate things and it takes some time to figure out what it's doing to change what you want. I was able to come up with a all alchemy formula's require 1 white bread only. This should make things easier when you go to make a formula. It might mess things up with the mix and match option with this option on. I haven't tested that part, but I probably recommend you turn the option off if you use mix and match. I found the area in memory for all 134 alchemy formula's but didn't want to spend more time figuring out how to make them all viewable.
EDIT 7.0:
I came up with an option to get the mad scientist achievement earlier in the game. The option to change alchemy formulas to all white bread only now as an optional easy mad scientist flag. If you set this flag to ON and go back into your alchemy, you can mix and match various quantities of white bread or iced coffee to make all the formula's available. There are a total of 134 formulas. You just go 1 thru 70 of white bread and 1 thru 64 of iced coffee and soon enough, you get the achievement and make the items. I recommend setting infinite item on while you do this at least or you will run out of materials quickly. I tested this and the achievement triggered for me.
EDIT 7.5:
someone wanted pointers to grow stats for familiars. I added them to the highlighted familiar stats pointer section. Higher numbers for these values cause you to get better stat increases on level up. I'm not sure exactly how it all works but higher is better. This might be the last update. I am in post-game and only have few more achievements to get before I am done playing for now.
EDIT 8.0:
I have now completed the game and received every achievement in the process. I added a few things to the table to make things a little easier. First, multiply extra stat increases of familiars. Normally, you can only add up to 255 points to a stat of the familiar but with this option every point counts as the multiplier you select instead of just 1, so you can easily max out the familiar stats to 999 if you so desire. When I was testing this option, I was hitting enemies for the maximum damage of 9999 consistently. I guess there is a one hit kill option if you need it. I modified the override familiar ID option to allow for an auto increase familiar ID. If you turn this on then every time you hand in a ticket to solomon, the game sets the next override familiar ID to the next one. I used this to try to quickly get the familiarologist achievement but it still took a little time because you need 250 distinct familiars. But if you turn the option on and have enough tickets (use override shop and maybe change alchemy to get those as needed), you can get it done fairly quickly.
EDIT 8.5:
well, I attempted to get a few other requests working since I thought they would be nice to have from beginning of game. I think I nailed down the options to can use philmobile before endgame and can use dragon horn from beginning of game. Basically these options set flags that are required to use the items. You still have to give yourself the item with override shop but you can use that when picking up a chest or forage point from the beginning. I tested this and it works from start of the game. Use tengri with caution as I'm sure you can break your game by going places you should not.
EDIT 9.0:
fixed for the version update around december 14, 2019. Put back in no familiar fullness.

Some people over at gbatemp already did extensive research into the file structure of the save files of the PS3 version - maybe some of that work can be applied to the remaster?
